Glocal Junction Restaurant Review

After reading a lot of reviews of this place, Most of the reviews boasting the fusion food and their unique cocktails. Decided to give it a try extremely easy to find located right next to China bistro. Went there on a Sunday evening around 7 the place had hardly anyone people started coming in after 8 guess it was pretty packed up by 8:30-9, the place isn’t that big but they got two floors. Glad we dropped in early. So the first thing you notice when you step in is the bar. The ambience is amazing everything was customized with their logo coasters glasses to the tissue roll. The cutlery is innovative and quirky. So coming to the food had ordered lazeez chicken cheese kabab. Presentation is. 10/10 for Glocal Junction wish I could say the same for the food. The kebab was served along with pav and bhutta they didn’t serve any dip. The cheese served on the kabab wasn’t really upto the mark tasted weird in simple words. Nothing fusion about it. The Half roast bird was a saving grace served with mashed potatoes and sauté veggies the gravy served along with this was delicious. For drinks we ordered cocktails Mirage which was vodka based served in a pineapple shaped jar confuses and satisfies your taste buds the other one Infused Jar concoction of vodka with berries cinnamon and apparently some other secret ingredient.  The main reason for me ordering this drink is the mention of berries I expected berries apparently cherries are berries according the bartender and how many cherries do you have in the drink “One” after explaining what are berries they offered some more cherries I’m not saying the drink was bad the drink was really good the description of the drink was wrong. Anyways would I be going back there again?? Maybe when if I feel like having crazy amazing cocktails in Gothic ambience to get high!!!
