Ananda Restaurant, Jubilee Hills Review

Friend who just came down from Germany wanted to have spicy south Indian food. After opening Zomato and selecting distance, Ananda was first on list.  It was pretty easy to find, in the same lane as Omega hospitals. Once you enter the interiors take you to a different era, the dark wood furniture and the sundial with zodiac signs on the ceiling, so aesthetically pleasing.

Promptly seated. But the service was too slow seeing the fact there were hardly any people. So coming to the food ordered a Murg Shorba, lesson learnt not ordering that again.

For starters ordered as recommended by the staff Tamlapaku chicken. That’s chicken made with pan leaf,  was a little skeptical on taste but man it was good

Kodi vepudu was good as well. Then for mains we had Gongura mutton( meat cooked in sorrel leaves) with steamed rice. My friend was literally licking fingers, not too tangy but with good amount of spice. I would totally recommend this dish.
